Nancy M. Martini is an artist from Burlington, Ontario. She is self-taught gaining her education from generous artists that share their knowledge in books and videos.

Her work is inspired by all things feminine including florals, fragrances and soft pastel colours.  Nancy is best known for her soft, loose, and colorful floral arrangements.  She is inspired by florals so much that you will often find them incorporated within her paintings of women, perfume bottles, flamingos, and even pineapples.

Nancy is a mother of three, works as a Director of Finance, teaches Management Accounting at McMaster University, and coaches baseball.  She paints and creates from her home studio daily, even if that means carving out just 15 minutes per session. 

She has been told her work communicates a happy vibe and if you ask her, she will tell you that she only creates when she is feeling happy herself. She paints with an abstract and impressionistic style, tasking herself to avoid realism and instead ensure her painting looks like a painting.  She does this by using colours that would not necessarily be found in that arrangment.
