Yooyoung Amy Oh is a Korean-Canadian mixed media artist who majored in Fibre Arts at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada.

She was born in Seoul, grew up in Montreal, and is currently living in Toronto.

Through her diverse cultural influences and various city life experiences, she is finding her own unique colour in her works.

She creates works that are narrative and abstract, pulling inspiration from the objects surrounding her and nature.

She often uses acrylic paint, oil sticks, thick gesso, and crumpled mulberry paper to create and emphasize the texture on the canvas.
