The idea of portraying a strong snowstorm that has the feeling of harsh winds and cold air against the warmth of the flames of an intense burning fireplace reminds you of how nature can dance together with the heat and cold entwined but nether will last but their beauty stays with you forever. |
This painting is in response to moving closer to Lake Ontario. My art continues to be about observation and storytelling, water is often featured in my artwork. I am fascinated by how something can be so powerful and also serene. |
Kissing: to touch gently or lightly! |
I want to capture precious moments and remember them. |

I am a mixed media artist drawing inspiration from my multicultural background and global experiences. Rooted in Indian heritage, I create textured art that expresses survival through displacement and assimilation. Harmonizing paint, paper, photography, typography, and foliage, my pieces explore identity and belonging amidst life's transience. |
In the fleeting moments of twilight the sun’s fading rays illuminate in an abstracted scene, the sky, water and scene and create a silhouetted view of the forest and objects. |
The moments we deem beautiful often reveal their true value when we look back after time has passed. |
I feel wild and free," I proclaim to the skies, In the realm of possibilities, where my spirit flies. Unshackled by worry, like a bird in the breeze, I dance through life's forests, beneath canopies of trees. No boundaries can hold me, no limits to heed, I'm chasing my dreams, my imagination on full speed. In the vast, open meadows, I am unbridled and strong, With the wild in my heart, I truly belong. |

Cheryl HJ creates unique landscape paintings to explore the interplay between light and dark, reality and imagination. she invites viewers to interpret the painting in their own imaginative way. |
This pastel painting of summer beach scene captures the evolving patterns the waves made on the sand. To portray the highlights of the sparkling sun’s reflections, I used iridescent pastels. |
The moments we deem beautiful often reveal their true value when we look back after time has passed. |
Flowers offer the opportunity to truly see and breathe in their beauty. The power, if only temporarily, is there to bring us into harmony with nature and ultimately with ourselves. |

The time to feel happiness and the time to love are moments compared to eternity. |
Whispers of the Night captures the poetic dance of city lights under the moon's embrace. |
Humans have created many technological advancements, humans who have become great through countless changes, but I thought that they were just insignificant and weak in front of nature. I wanted to depict the mayfly-like appearance of humans who live knowingly but sometimes forgetting and forgetting. |
